This week's player of the week is St. Louis Blues right wing Chris Stewart. Stewart, who is coming off a terrible season last year, is rebounding tremendously this season. In 28 games, Stewart has 28 points, scoring 14 goals and adding 14 assists. He also has a plus/minus of +5. My selection of Chris Stewart as Player of the Week doesn't just come from his performance this season. It comes more from his play from this week. This week, Stewart played in 3 games, scoring 5 goals and 2 assists, giving him 7 points, which lead all players in points this week. Stewart also proved to be very clutch for the Blues, as he also netted two game-winning goals this week. Chris Stewart has all the ability to be a top power forward in the NHL, and it's good to see that he's fully maximizing his potential this season.
