This week's Player of the Week is Philadelphia Flyers forward Jakub Voracek. The young Czech forward lead all players in scoring this week, posting 4 goals and 7 assists for 11 points. Voracek also had a hat-trick in Philadelphia's 6-5 thrilling victory over the Pittsburgh Penguins. After a very poor start, the Flyers are slowly climbing their way back up the standings, and Voracek has led the charge this week. With the loss of Jaromir Jagr in the off-season, the Flyers needed a new top line right winger to play with Claude Giroux and Scott Hartnell, and Jakub Voracek has emerged into that role. If the Flyers are going to have any chance at making the playoffs, Voracek is going to have to continue performing at this level.
