In the previous two weeks, it was easy to pick a Player of the Week, because there was one player that stood out from the rest. This week, however, there were a few players who caught my eye, but in the end, I picked Chicago Blackhawks forward Patrick Kane as the Player of the Week for this week. Kane's Blackhawks have been arguably the best team in the league this season (first place in the league with a 10-0-2 record), and Kane has been one of the reasons why. In the past week, Kane has played 3 games, scoring 5 goals and 1 assist. After his stellar performance this week, Kane is now second in the league in points (19), with 9 goals and 10 assists. After an off year last season (by his standards), Patrick Kane is back and better than ever this season. We are seeing the Patrick Kane this season that we saw in 2010, when the Blackhawks won the Stanley Cup.
