Since the beginning of our Player of the Week feature, we have never had a more obvious decision in picking a Player of the Week than we had this week. Abbotsford Heat goaltender Barry Brust set an AHL record this week, breaking Hockey Hall of Fame goaltender Johnny Bower's 55 year old record for the AHL's longest shutout streak. Brust went 268 minutes and 17 seconds without giving up a goal, surpassing Bower's streak of 249 minutes and 51 seconds. This why he is more than deserving of being named this week's Player of the Week.

Do you agree with our pick for this week's Player of the Week?
